Race to Net Zero Philippines (RtNZ PH) is a national movement that brings businesses, cities, and society together to accelerate the Philippines’ transition to net zero.
We are part of the global Race to Zero campaign, led by the United Nations Climate Change High-Level Champions, and were launched by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP), the official national accelerator of the campaign.
Why We Race
Many organizations and communities across the country have made climate commitments or started their own initiatives. The challenge is turning these into practical, coordinated action.

2024
The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) became an official Race to Zero Accelerator, launching the campaign in the Philippines and convening the first Philippine summit to bring sectors together around net zero.
2025
Race to Net Zero Philippines expanded its partnership with National University, brought business leaders, creatives, and climate advocates together at the LAMINA Dialogue, and opened conversations on climate justice through the Climate Justice Meets Climate Action webinar, creating more ways for different sectors to take part in the Race.
2026
Iloilo City joined Cities Race to Zero, connecting its local climate efforts with the shared global goal of net zero. It brings the Race closer to everyday life, where local governments, businesses, and residents each have a role in turning plans into action.
