MOU Signing with National University South Cluster
- Date January 31, 2025
- Venue NU Dasmarinas, Cavite
The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and National University (NU) expanded their memorandum of understanding to include NU Dasmariñas and NU Lipa. ECCP Executive Director Florian Gottein and Race to Zero Campaign Lead Dawn Cabigon joined NU executives Catherine Lagadia and Ramon Rodriguez to formalize the agreement.
The expanded MOU outlined commitments to establish Race to Zero student committees, organize campus-based fundraising and expert-led sustainability programs, and develop student-designed branding—including a new campaign logo. These activities were intended to build toward NU’s flagship “Race to Zero: Run for Climate Action” in August 2025, strengthening the university network’s role in campus climate action.
The partnership centered on inspiring and empowering students to contribute to a low-carbon, resilient future while deepening industry–academia collaboration under the global Race to Zero campaign.
