MOU Signing with National University South Cluster

  • People & Communities

The European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) and National University (NU) broadened their memorandum of understanding to include NU Dasmariñas and NU Lipa. ECCP Executive Director Florian Gottein and Race to Zero Campaign Lead Dawn Cabigon joined NU executives Catherine Lagadia and Ramon Rodriguez to seal the agreement.

The expanded MOU commits both parties to establish Race to Zero student committees, run campus-based fundraising and expert-led sustainability programs, and launch student-designed branding—including a new campaign logo. These activities will build toward NU’s flagship “Race to Zero: Run for Climate Action” in August 2025, positioning the university network as a leader in campus climate action.

“This partnership is about inspiring and empowering students to drive a low-carbon, resilient future,” Gottein said, underscoring ECCP’s goal of deeper industry–academia collaboration under the global Race to Zero campaign.

Keep up with the Race.
