RtNZ PH participated in the Asia ACT Forum

9 October 2026, Makati City - Race to Net Zero Philippines (RtNZ PH) participated in the Accelerating Clean Transitions in Asia (Asia ACT) Forum on 9 October 2026, joining discussions on advancing the clean energy transition.
The forum was co-hosted by the Climate Change Commission (CCC), the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change’s Regional Collaboration Centre for Asia and the Pacific (UNFCCC RCC Asia-Pacific), and the Department of Energy (DOE).
RtNZ PH’s participation provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives on translating climate commitments into implementation, including the role of coordinated planning, investment, and stakeholder cooperation.
Among the key takeaways was the importance of a whole-of-society approach. Giving businesses, local governments, and communities a voice in the transition, alongside access to skills and opportunities, can help connect climate goals with practical action.
The discussions also offered insights relevant to RtNZ PH’s work in engaging stakeholders in the Philippines’ transition to cleaner energy and net-zero emissions.
