Strengthening University Engagement in Climate Action
On 14 April 2026, RTNZ took part in the UPLB Sustainability for Climate Action Administrators’ Workshop at the University of the Philippines Los Baños–an important step in advancing the campaign’s engagement with universities as critical partners in driving climate action.
Ms. Dawn F. Cabigon, Campaign Lead of RTNZ, highlighted the urgency of the university’s role in the national climate agenda, particularly in advancing a just transition toward a net-zero future.
For the Race to Zero campaign, the workshop served as a key platform to strengthen partnerships with academic institutions, align sustainability frameworks with global standards, and drive the adoption of science-based climate commitments.
