Textile Revitalized (TexRev) Project Launch: Supporting the Race to Zero Campaign
ECCP welcomed new member Bayo Manila Inc. as it launched the TexRev Project—a partnership between Bayo and DOST-PTRI held at The Gallery, Greenbelt 5. TexRev upcycles post-industrial fabric scraps into sustainable yarns, cutting landfill waste, water, and energy use while advancing the Race to Zero goal of net-zero emissions.
A panel on circular fashion featured DOST-PTRI Director Dr. Julius Leano Jr., Bayo CEO Anna Lagon, and Fairs & More Inc. CEO Dawn Cabigon, who urged Philippine brands to adopt low-carbon practices to stay competitive under tightening global standards.
By championing TexRev, ECCP spotlights circular solutions that help local industries meet Race to Zero targets and strengthen the Philippines’ role in sustainable fashion.
